Alexander Skarsgård and Michael Peña star in a new buddy cop comedy filled with vulgarity and violence in War on Everyone. The two are seen as amoral New Mexico cops who abuse their power by framing criminals who cross their paths. Things take an interesting turn when the duo runs into a powerful British crime boss, played by Theo James, in search of a million dollars. Directed and written by John Michael McDonagh (Calvary, The Guard), the plot incorporates the British filmmaker’s notable balance between dark comedy and action, filled with amusing twists.
