Following the close of Copenhagen Fashion Week, the fashion crowd has made its way even more north to Oslo to scope out the latest in Norwegian fashion. Condensed into one day only, Oslo Runway showcased five of Norway’s pre-eminent designers, while those milling about outside the Sentralen — a savings bank-turned-cultural center and fashion venue — showcased select looks from their own wardrobes. As a whole, the Norwegians favored grunge and vintage looks, represented above all in the proliferation of early-2000s dad shoes, including the Nike Shox, Air Max Plus, and even Salomon hiking trainers.
