This LEGO Range Rover Defender Actually Has Four Gears' Worth of 4-Wheel Drive
The only new kind of Defender you can get your hands on.
You may not be able to get your hands on a new Range Rover Defender 90—the model went out of production earlier this year—but LEGO master-builder Sariel has built a 1:8.6 scale model of the vehicle, complete with fully functioning 4-speed transmission and 4-wheel drive with a central differential. The remote-controlled model also benefits from live axle suspension, working headlights and even turn signals. The vehicle weighs in a 3.24 kilograms (or roughly 7 pounds) and measures 47 centimeters (or a foot and a half) in length.
