Young Thug Earns His Very First Platinum Single
The first of many more to come?
Young Thug has landed his very first platinum single. The honor comes for his Ricky Racks produced single “Best Friend,” which he released in September of last year and also supported with a video. Thugger took to Twitter to reveal the news, tweeting, “It’s official @youngthug “Best Friend” is RIAA Certified Platinum #thankyouslimesoldiers #whatsgold #yslforlife.” Considering his current ascent and popularity, this will probably be the first of more to come. Most recently, Young Thug dropped another new single and connected with Gucci Mane and Future.
