Journeymen's New Series Talks Art, Taxidermy and How He Made It in Streetwear With Brain Dead's Kyle Ng
“I could do whatever I want to do.”
One half of the creative duo running Brain Dead, Kyle Ng talks us through his philosophies on creativity and how the brand made it onto the scene. After moving to LA at the age of 18 without any connections in the city, Ng explains how clothing only started out as an outlet for other things he was interested in — punk music, film, comic books, art and more. This attitude is still what drives the brand and its collaborations today, as hand-painted movie posters get printed on shirts and Brain Dead Records makes merchandise for things like Thai psychedelic bands. Check out the rest of his quirky stories in the second episode of Journeymen above.
