Idris Elba was a guest on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show, where DJ Big Driis and the late-night host played “Box of Microphones.”

The host and guest are presented with a selection of microphones—each programmed with a different vocal effect filter—and a pile of cards with popular songs for them to sing. Watch as Elba raps Desiigner’s “Panda” while a microphone transforms the British actor’s baritone into a chipmunk’s squeak; Fallon’s rendition of “One Dance,” meanwhile, is down-tuned a couple of octaves. The highlight is when the two perform a soulful rendition of Lionel Richie and Diana Ross’ duet, “Endless Love,” dripping in auto-tune.
