BAPE Pays Tribute to the Upcoming 'Godzilla' Movie With Its Latest Collection
Custom graphics featuring the legendary monster.
With the new Godzilla Resurgence movie coming up this summer, A Bathing Ape is dropping a collaborative collection set to launch on the film’s release date. A simple range of black and white graphic print T-shirts feature familiar BAPE motifs that have been updated with Godzilla Resurgence-style graphics across the front and back.
The legendary Japanese kaiju monster originally named Gojira has been immortalized in 28 films over the past 60 years; to those who saw Gareth Edwards’s American remake of Godzilla in 2014, Godzilla Resurgence will vastly differ as the film will be the first Japanese-made Godzilla movie to be made in over 12 years.
