Chance The Rapper Calls for WhirlyBall Boycott
“A sad end to a family place.”
Until yesterday, Chance the Rapper was a longtime supporter and fan of WhirlyBall. However, the love has come to an abrupt end as Chance has called out the Chicago amusement center over alleged mistreatment by its staff. As documented by Lil Chano’s Twitter account, his last night’s visit involved a disagreement with door staff and security over the venue’s new dress code. Chance writes, “It’s very inaccessible if you’re black or friends with black people.” Read the rest of his tweets, as well as a screenshot of the website’s specific dress code, below.
