A Fan Discovers Unreleased Nirvana Songs From Studio Reel Purchased Off eBay

The songs date back to 1993.

Alternative Nation has just reported this interesting story to say the least, that invovles two unreleased Nirvana songs which were discovered by a fan who bought an old studio session reel of the band off eBay. Dated 15 February 1993, the tape features seven recordings from Pachyderm Studios in Minnesota, two of which were unheard of until recently. The unreleased songs are “Lullaby” and an untitled song allegedly featuring Dave Grohl on all instruments. Judging by the date, the reel was recorded during the period Nirvana were working on their third and final album In Utero, which was in that same year in September.
