mastermind JAPAN & Vans Drop a Range of Footwear and Apparel
A collaboration between two industry heavyweights.

After taking to Instagram to tease their fans of a joint project, mastermind JAPAN and Vans have officially unveiled their highly-anticipated collaboration. Initially it was thought that just two collaborative models would be part of this special release, but fortunately for us streetwear lovers this drop features three pieces of footwear, to go along with a trio of graphic T-shirts. The iconic Vans Slip-On, Era and Sk8-Hi silhouettes are rendered in a plush black leather construction for this occasion, which is offset by white details and a color-blocked vulc sole featuring the Japanese brand’s skull logo. This color scheme is applied to the tee range as well, all of which feature co-branded graphics on both the front and back. Prices for the shoes range from ¥18,000 JPY (approximately $165 USD) to ¥20,000 JPY (approximately $185 USD), while the T-shirts are all available for ¥7,000 JPY (approximately $65 USD). Check out the entire mastermind JAPAN x Vans capsule release above and purchase any items starting June 25 from the Tokyo label’s locations. You can also pre-order the drop here.
