The Ben-G x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Pro OP Is Made for Skating
For those having a monochrome moment.
Amsterdam skate shop, Ben-G recently collaborated with Parra for a “Top-Up” shop that allowed customers and art enthusiasts to see some of the Dutch artist’s work. Looking to continue to forge more lasting relationships in the industry, the retail space has now linked up with footwear giant Converse on a special sneaker release. For the collaborative kicks, the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star Pro OP was chosen and given robust, dash-textured leather uppers. The addition of rubber ollie patches on the front makes them a functional skate shoe, while the Lunarlon insoles allow for a more comfortable stride. At the tongues, you’ll find the shop’s logo graphic, as well as a tear and dash motif reflecting a tattoo that co-founder, Benny Komala has.
This black and white pair is set to release on June 22 and will available at select skate shops, the Ben-G site and the Converse online shop.
