Since the launch of the adidas Originals NMD sneaker last year, the Three Stripes brand has refashioned it in various colorways and silhouettes, each sleeker than the last. The sneaker has seen an exponential growth in popularity this season within the streetwear scene, making it one of the hottest kicks to have for the summer. Fresh off the release of their much-coveted “Monochromatic” Primeknit pack, adidas Originals has come up with similarly minimalistic iterations of their City Sock and R1 silhouettes in Primeknit material.
The NMD City Sock has been streamlined with an all-black Primeknit upper and white Boost midsole for extra support, contrasted with electric blue tabs at the rear. On the other hand, the NMD_R1 has been given a clean white Primeknit upper to complement its Boost support. The model features red and blue tabs on the midsole that give the otherwise monochromatic shoe a vibrant pop of color — perfect for minimalists who want to make a statement.
