Yasiin Bey Drops New Track "Dec. 99th – N.A.W."
Produced by Ferrari Sheppard.

Yasiin Bey has had a wild couple of months to say the least. Back in January, the man formerly known as Mos Def was arrested and accused of using a false passport — a charge he adamantly denied before announcing his upcoming retirement from performing and dropping “No More Parties In SA” on Kanye West’s website. In the months since, Bey has promised fans one final album — which is supposedly slated for a release before 2016 comes to a close — and been named the creative director of South African brand Unknown Union. Thankfully, those still waiting for some musical output from the Brooklyn-born polymath have finally been blessed with a brand new track. Entitled “Dec. 99th – N.A.W.,” the Ferrari Sheppard production, like much of Bey’s recent output, appears in support of A Country Called Earth and coincides with a recorded message in which he apologizes to his Scandinavian fans for his inability to tour and perform in the region.
