Skepta's Boiler Room Performance for 'Konnichiwa' Album Launch Was Legendary
Now this is how you launch an album.
On May 5, Skepta was at the center of an intimate but intense Konnichiwa launch event in Tokyo. Promoted and put together by Boiler Room as one of the iconic underground institution’s renowned shows, Skepta’s Tokyo show served as his Japanese debut and a way to introduce the monster that is his new album. The event was supported by local Japanese emcees Dutch Montana, KOHH, Loota and DJ Riki, and featured live renditions of the biggest Konnichiwa records and other major tracks from Skepta’s storied career.
