Patta's Newest Short Film Is a Looming Night Terror
The Dutch brand goes dark.
Dutch streetwear brand Patta has released a short film, titled Concept of Wind, as part of its 2016 spring/summer collection. The film, directed by Holland-based filmmaker and visual artist Emmanuel Adjei, features a gloomy, overcast aesthetic rich in poetic imagery; churning waters, the flitting of bird’s wings and the flickering of street-lights all lend a foreboding and surreal atmosphere to the piece. The resultant film is equal parts dreary and dreamy—like a looming night terror—while the argument that serves as the film’s central conflict is muted, letting the images stand on their own for audiences to parse through as they see fit.
