Liam Neeson Plays the Role of a Monstrous Tree in the New Trailer for 'A Monster Calls'
A far cry from his ‘Taken’ character Brian Mills.
Fantasy becomes a sudden reality in the new film A Monster Calls as a young boy confides in an extraordinary tree to help get over a sickness that’s taking a toll on his mother. Based on the novel of the same name by Patrick Ness, Liam Neeson’s impactful voice, once used to threaten what seemed to be an army of Albanians in the Taken series, adopts the tree’s personality while interacting with actor Lewis MacDougall who plays the protagonist Conor. A Monster Calls is expected to release in the US on October 14.
