Centered around the theme of “Nagomi.”
Fresh off releasing its “GROUND CONTROL” collection, nonnative teams up with fellow Japanese imprint UNITED ARROWS & SONS to release a capsule range for the Spring/Summer 2016 season. Centered around the theme of “Nagomi,” the Japanese word for calm, the two present eight garments ranging from outerwear to bottoms rendered using the traditional techniques of “Plant dyeing” and “Ryukyu indigo.” A dizzying short film documenting some of the collection’s sources of inspiration and intricate production processes can be seen below.
