Nick Jonas & Tove Lo Unite for New Single "Close"

With former boy band stars like Zayn Malik trying to evolve a little bit beyond the conventional male pop star mold, Nick Jonas is plotting his next moves as a solo artist. After building upon his own, personal sound and style in recent years, Nick Jonas is planning to drop a new solo project this summer. Entitled Last Year Was Complicated, the album was originally announced on Twitter yesterday and is scheduled for a June 10 release. To introduce the next chapter in his career, Nick Jonas has shared the effort’s lead single. “Close” finds Jonas looking to fellow pop artist Tove Lo for assistance, with the pair’s “on-screen relationship” providing the narrative for the track’s official visual as well.
