Drew Howard Is Back With Three New Tracks
The “Social Suicide” EP is the Toronto artist’s newest work since October.
It’s no secret that Toronto has become a serious hotbed of musical talent in recent years. Drake, The Weeknd and Justin Bieber might be dominating the charts but the underground is just as vibrant as the mainstream, and Drew Howard is one of that scene’s most interesting characters. He’s following up his last solo EP with a new offering, Social Suicide, that sees Howard back in fine form with his trademark sing-song flow and clever songwriting, and further establishes his quirky humor and style (even the album art has some jokes). The wickedly fun “Funza” sees Howard link back up with frequent collaborator Alexonweed, while the other two tracks featured production by Murda Beatz, who is one of Migos’ favored beatsmiths, and NickEBeats, who produced the Fetty Wap summer smash “My Way.” Stream the project above and stay tuned for more Drew Howard coming soon.
