Hong Kong is currently well in the thick of an art-fuelled frenzy that has completely enveloped the city for the week of Art Basel. Now in its fourth year, the event has filled the expansive Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center with 239 contemporary art exhibitors from across the world, who have gathered an innumerable range of paintings, sculptures, installations, prints, photography and video art by over 4,000 artists. We visited the show before its official opening to the public from March 24-26 to provide a glimpse of what art enthusiasts can expect from at least a full day of canvas gazing at Asia’s premier art event.
