Solebox Tries Its Hand at the adidas Consortium Ultra Boost
The Ultra Boost sees suede for the first time.

As the third stop on the adidas Consortium Tour, famed Berlin sneaker shop Solebox had the privilege of creating a custom version of the popular Ultra Boost sneaker. Using Berlin’s coat of arms as the source of inspiration for the silhouette, Solebox enlisted Hikmet Sugoer to bedeck the Ultra Boost in a grey uncaged knit upper, while suede hits on the tongue and heel cup add a never-before-seen element to the runner. The standard Boost midsole adds unparalleled performance aspects, while a crimson Continental rubber outsole and similarly colored insole spices up the predominantly neutral ensemble. Custom tongue tags and Solebox embossed branding on the heel denote the special status of this Consortium release. Retailing for €180 EUR, look for the Solebox x adidas Consortium Ultra Boost to pre-release on March 12 in-store and online at Solebox, before making its way to Consortium accounts worldwide on March 26.
