Originally released as an incredibly lightweight — and ultimately disposable — marathon running shoe, Nike’s Mayfly silhouette saw great success as a lifestyle model upon its initial release in 2011. Now, with warmer weather on the horizon, the remastered sneaker is poised for a much welcomed return in 2016, both in its immensely popular woven version and in three solid colorways that bear the original graphic print. Releasing in blue, black and red, the latter option features a minimal — but thankfully, more durable — printed upper, a Phylon midsole for lightweight cushioning, and a rubber outsole, all of which combine for a sport-inspired, but casual-friendly silhouette for the coming season. Take a look at the debut colorways of Nike’s Mayfly Retro above and look for the sneaker to release very soon at retailers like 43einhalb.
