James Blake Drops "Modern Soul," Confirms Kanye West & Bon Iver Collabs
Blake introduces a new record from the upcoming ‘Radio Silence.’
James Blake introduced Radio Silence with a track of the same name last summer, but ever since then news regarding the LP has mostly been quiet. However, it looks like the long-awaited followup to 2013’s Overgrown might finally be on its way. After dropping the 200 Press EP back in December of 2014, Blake finally returns to our viral pages with a brand new cut. Introduced last night during the latest installment of his BBC Radio 1 residency, “Modern Soul” marks a return to form as the 27-year-old Brit croons over a sparse piano-led production. During the show, Blake also confirmed that both Kanye West and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon — a previous Yeezy collaborator in his own right — will be appearing on his upcoming LP.
