SSENSE Enlists Nick Knight to Capture ALYX's 2017 Spring Video Lookbook
Highlighting the New York-based brand’s reflective outerwear.
SSENSE recently recruited renowned fashion photographer Nick Knight to co-direct a mesmerizing video lookbook for ALYX alongside brand founder Matthew Williams. The collaborative video spotlights the New York City-based label’s dual 2017 spring collections dubbed “New Happiness” and “Love Chaos.” In the three-minute clip, viewers are immediately immersed in a monochromatic world where a woman completely clad in reflective gear rides a Spidi motorcycle through the streets of London at night.
“The film is about one’s ability to attain fantasy and happiness through the chaotic energy of speed and the solitude of riding a motorcycle away into the night,” said SSENSE in a statement.
