The Air Jordan 1 Ultra High Receives a "Banned" Colorway
A modern take on the iconic model.

Jordan Brand’s beloved Air Jordan 1 earlier this year received a unique makeover with the Ultra High silhouette, which saw the court focused classic change into more a lifestyle-minded weather-ready model. The modern take on the classic features additional neoprene slip-on ankle support, bolstered canvas overlays on the toe box and heel panels, and a wool-based upper for further insulation. After receiving a “Royal” colorway the Air Jordan 1 Ultra High receives a “Banned” iteration. Drawing from the black, “varsity red” and white OG colorway, the latest iteration sees the bolstered canvas on the toe box and the branding found on the tongue done in the same “varsity red.” No word on an official release date just yet, but stay tuned for more details as they become available.
