Aedle's ODS-1 Headphones Combine Handcrafted Quality & Parisian Luxury
A “new standard for nomadic audio luxury” has arrived.
Following the success of their VK-1 headphones, French manufacturer Aedle has revealed plans for their next major product. Continuing to emphasize high-quality construction and runway-ready, audiophile-friendly luxury, the Parisian outfit introduces an elegant new pair of in-ear headphones known as the ODS-1. Available in three different colorways, the ODS-1 boasts machined aluminum housing, the highest-quality Venetian Calf Leather, an MMCX detachable cable and a remote and microphone entirely compatible with Android and iOS. Intending to create the ideally-balanced sonic environment and give users an immersive audio experience, Aedle outfitted their new headphones with a hybrid sound engine comprised of a balanced armature driver and 10mm titanium diaphragm dynamic transducer. All three version of the ODS-1 were handcrafted in Aedle’s Paris workshop and studio, where the manufacturers aimed to create a “new standard for nomadic audio luxury” with each model of their new product. The ODS-1 is available in Classic, Legacy and Eclipse models, while each item is currently retailing for $360 USD. The first round of Aedle’s latest headphones is limited to 200 pairs and will begin showing up at high-end retailers such as London’s Selfridges and Paris’ colette on November 21. You can pre-order the ODS-1 headphones here – the full range of products will see an official online release on November 20.
