Reebok Gets Festive for Chinese New Year With the Instapump Fury Road "Year of the Monkey"
Black, white and plenty of red to celebrate the lunar holiday.
With Chinese New Year just around the corner, Reebok is celebrating the lunar holiday with a festive limited edition sneaker in honor of the new zodiac animal that signifies those born in the years 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004 and 2016. February 8 will mark the beginning of a new year for the Fire Monkey, which directly inspired this Instapump Fury Road’s design which features a predominantly black upper with a white geometric pattern that represents the face of a monkey. Chinese culture’s lucky red color highlights the shoe’s leather heel counter.
