Nike Tennis Classic Ultra "Hot Lava"
An unexpected color for the minimal silhouette.
The “Hot Lava” colorway has taken on a number of sneakers lately–from the re-release of the Air Tech Challenge 2 to the Kobe 10. This time, Nike decided to take one of its minimal silhouettes, the Tennis Classic Ultra, and give it the fiery treatment. Not to disrupt the clean aesthetic of the shoe, the all-white leather upper is kept intact barring a splash of hot lava on the heel tab. Other than the branding on the tongue, the design embraces a simple presentation, right down to the subtle perforated Swoosh logo. The Nike Tennis Classic Ultra “Hot Lava” will be available online starting January 25 through Nike and retailers like asphaltgold.
