Phil Knight's Memoir Drops This April
‘Shoe Dog.’
Publisher Simon & Schuster has officially unveiled Nike co-founder Phil Knight’s highly anticipated memoir. According to CNBC’s initial report about the book last October, Knight was reluctant to delve into the Swoosh’s past, but ultimately stated “Giving up more and more daily responsibility, I have found the time and the perspective. Or said another way: If I didn’t do it now, it wasn’t going to be done at all.” Knight, 77, announced plans last year to step down as the company’s Chairman.
Shoe Dog is set for an April 26 release while the publisher’s own synopsis appears below.
