Concepts & Nike Celebrate 20 Years With a Heavily-Inspired Free Trainer 1.0

Previously teasing the upcoming release with a glimpse of its special packaging, the Concepts x Nike Free Trainer 1.0 has finally been revealed. To celebrate 20 years strong, Concepts has taken inspiration from thermal reactive materials, thermal cameras and sports science. The two longtime collaborators take a stab at the Swoosh’s training division by using the Free Trainer 1.0 silhouette as its canvas. Its multicolored upper grabs your attention while the white sole presents a barefoot feel due to its high flexibility. Dynamic Flywire is also present throughout the shoe in order to allow the model to loosen and tighten to the motion of your foot. In addition, the tongue features thermal reactive material that changes to the thermal camera pattern along the upper when heated. This collaboration between Concepts and Nike is slated to release on January 16.
