The devastating 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur robbed the hip hop world of one of its most influential, game-changing figures, cutting what could have been a long and illustrious career tragically short. However, in the nine years before his death, Tupac had already written and recorded a wealth of material that still lives on through fans today.
One particular fan has now collated an extensive online database of every Tupac guest verse, freestyle, interview and unreleased track available. ”This page is an ever growing collection of the most rare and significant Tupac content from around the web,” the Wakelet page description reveals. “It’s important to share the things we have discovered about this artist, and I want to build a community around the preservation and collection of media that fans might not always get a chance to see. Please follow for updates on the latest and best Tupac news.”
Organised by topic, visitors can peruse through over 70 unreleased songs, 116 guest verses and several documentaries. With the release of a new trailer for the long-awaited Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me, this couldn’t have come at a better time. Head here to immerse yourself in the extensive collection.
