We all probably did not enjoy the taste of beer as kids. Some time along the journey to adulthood, we acquired its bitter taste and learned to enjoy it. However, there are probably several of just can’t get used to the flavor. For those people, a new research conducted by a team from Belgium may help you appreciate beer more. Published in Frontiers in Psychology, the study suggests that beer drinking is a multi-sensory experience. Researchers found that beer drinkers enjoyed it more when consumed to music, especially with songs the listeners were already familiar with. In 2008, it was observed that loud music can encourage people to drink faster, the first time a study has shown a connection between drinking experiences and music. Although the recent study is a scientific, academically reviewed one, it was undertaken in conjunction with the Brussels Beer Project, which is a crowdfunded brewery — so ultimately it might not be the most neutral.
