With the release of Frank Ocean‘s studio album Blonde came some controversy with the release of LP cut and Andre 3000 collaboration “Solo (Reprise).” On the track, the Outkast great spits lines about ghostwriting and more, allowing some to speculate about exactly “who” 3 Stacks could potentially be dissing with his bars. However, in a new interview with Sway in the Morning, Andre 3000′s longtime friend and collaborator CeeLo Green is shutting down any allegations of Andre 3000 trying to start beef with any other rapper with his “Solo (Reprise)” verse. “I can confirm that it’s not [about Drake],” CeeLo Green says, explaining to Sway that the verse Andre recorded is over two years old. He does call the lines in question “good for hip-hip,” though. You can check out the full exchange above.
