Usher & Musicians Team up With John Oliver to Tell Politicians: "Stop Using Our Songs"

Politicians have used songs for their campaigns without authorization for years, and the latest in a long line is Donald Trump, who emerged onto a smokey stage like a rockstar to Queen’s “We Are The Champions” at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland last week. Now, John Oliver has selected the ongoing issue as a topic of discussion on his popular HBO show Last Week Tonight. Enlisting Usher, Imagine Dragons’s Dan Reynolds and more, Oliver and co. have pulled together a hysterical anthem with a simple message: “Stop using our songs.” Watch the segment above.
