The Game Teams up with LAPD Chief for #StoptheViolence PSA

The Game has joined forces with the LAPD for a new PSA targeting violence among minority males. Paired with the freshly-launched #StoptheViolence Campaign, the clip cuts between LAPD Chief Charlie Beck and The Game recounting eye-opening statistics on crime in the city during 2015:

“Last year in the city of Los Angeles, almost 1,000 people were shot. Almost 300 of them died. 80 percent of the victims and 80 percent of the shooters were young men of color.”

The LAPD have confirmed that other public figures will feature in upcoming PSAs. This isn’t the first time The Game and Beck have linked up – earlier in the month, they worked together to organize an L.A. peace rally to unite people of color. Watch the #StoptheViolence PSA below.
