ScHoolboy Q Became "Way More Lyrical" for New Album
ScHoolboy Q’s next album is going to be insane.
ScHoolboy Q might come through with one of the best projects of 2016. In a new interview with Billboard, TDE’s co-president — and possible dark house emcee — Punch had the following to say regarding the Groovy Gangsta’s next album:
“What’s standing out to me right now is [Q's] attention to detail. The detail in his bars is way up. To me, he’s way more lyrical on this album than he’s ever been.”
Punch also says that Q’s new LP has a “certain imagery” underlying the project, and speaks of “intricacies” within the project. For those keeping track, we had our very first listen of what Q has been cooking up at the very beginning of the year. A few weeks ago, TDE’s “Top Dawg” himself also outlined a period of release for Q’s next record.
