When Young Thug entered the music world, he was met with a lot of hate. At the same time, as he gained a huge cult-like following and in the next year or so, Thug quickly became one of the biggest stars in music — and he’s still far from reaching his glass ceiling. In anticipation of his forthcoming release of I’m Up (formerly titled Slime Season 3), Young Thug and 300 Entertainment founder Lyor Cohen visited Apple Music Beats 1 Radio‘s headquarters to have a conversation with Ebro. In the 26-minute interview, Thug (and Lyor) addressed many topics, including his dedicated work ethic, having ADHD, his come-up story, how he sold his watch to Gucci Mane, how Jamie xx is god, and more.
