Well, this might be a prime example of a “swing and a miss.” Following the release of Beyonce‘s headline-dominating new single “Formation” yesterday, social media was sent into a frenzy. Now, the Red Lobster Twitter has sent out a response.

Well, judging by the reaction on Twitter that followed, this isn’t nearly what anyone expected. While many corporate Twitter accounts have adopted a more savvy, clever approach to social media, Red Lobster apparently haven’t caught on. Judging by the onlne masses’ response to the tweet, the newfound good will towards Red Lobster might run out soon.
