It doesn’t take a genius to know that hip-hop is the most profane genre of music. Now, according to a new study by Musicmatch, this hypothesis is confirmed. The lyrics platform/website analyzed from eight genres — hip-hop, indie rock, metal, rock, electronic, folk, pop and country — and concluded that hip-hop is at number one while metal places second. The study shows that Lil Wayne and Chief Keef are the most profane artists in mainstream music, with Weezy being most overall and Keef with the highest frequency.
