Kanye West Is Reportedly Working on a David Bowie Tribute Album

“So fearless, so creative, he gave us magic for a lifetime.”

According to British tabloid, The Daily Star, Kanye West is working on a tribute album dedicated to the works of David Bowie. “Some are straightforward cover versions with Kanye actually singing. On others he is rapping with his own lyrics over Bowie’s music,” a source told the newspaper, just a week after the iconic British singer’s death. “He is determined to carry on David’s work as a musical innovator. He says that the torch has been passed to him” continued the unnamed West confidant. The claims are yet to be verified by Kanye’s team and, if the wait for SWISH is anything to go by, we could be waiting a long time before this one sees the light of day.
