Fall Out Boy round up Demi Lovato and pay tribute to legendary boy band N’SYNC for their latest. Revisiting their 2015 studio album, Fall Out Boy serve up a video for their single “Irresistible.” Taking influence for N’SYNC’s recognizable “It’s Gonna Be Me” vignette, Fall Out Boy cook up video they’re sharing as an “analog” to the aforementioned release’s narrative. Fall Out Boy explain today’s clip as such:
What if in the NSYNC video for “It’s Gonna Be Me” there was an analog to the story? Where in the same store there was a dollar bin full of toys that no one really wanted that would band together like the misfit, offbrand little outsiders they were. “Irresistible” is the video for that story, it’s about the toys no one ever wanted come to life.
The video for “Irresistible” is directed by Wayne Isham, the original direcor behind N’SYNC’s “It’s Gonna Be Me” visual,” and stars Demi Lovato, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick. You can check the clip above.
