Continuing his weekly release of alternate, unreleased versions of hip-hop classics, DJ Absolut has liberated an unreleased, different edition of the acclaimed Nas cut “Last Real N*gga Alive.” Originally produced by Ron Browz, “Last Real N*gga Alive” stuck out as one of the standout songs on Nas’ 2002 studio album God’s Son. Despite the original being outshined because of the LP’s singles, this new version stands out as a superior record when compared to a lot of the tracks Nas was releasing during that time. This newly-unveiled version of “Last Real N*gga Alive” definitely has a pretty impressive, soulful boom-bap beat attached to it.
