The White House Responds to Kanye West for President

Many exciting things happened on Sunday at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, but perhaps the most outstanding is Kanye West‘s epic speech after accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award from Taylor Swift. The speech ended off with ‘Ye announcing an official bid for president in 2020, which caused an uproar on the Internet. Today, as reported by Billboard, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest responds to Yeezy’s bid saying that he looks “forward to seeing what slogan [Kanye] chooses to embroider on his campaign hat” while he was traveling aboard Air Force One with President Barack Obama to Alaska.
