The Weeknd Set to Perform On 'Saturday Night Live'
His first time being honored as the night’s musical guest.
In promotion of his acclaimed sophomore album Beauty Behind the Madness, The Weeknd is set to perform on the second episode of Saturday Night Live’s 41st season, which will be hosted by Amy Schumer. Abel’s last appearance on the program was on September of 2014, where he assisted Ariana Grande during her rendition of their hit “Love Me Harder.” However, this occasion will mark the first time the Toronto crooner has been honored with responsibilities as the night’s musical guest. Schumer and The Weeknd’s episode is set to air on October 10, a week after the season kickoff which will be hosted by Miley Cyrus, who will also serve as the musical guest.
