Tei Shi and Rome Fortune revisit the former’s “Go Slow,” which appears on her Verde EP. The track finds the Atlanta native responding to the singer’s lyrics of the original version. With Shi asking her lover to slow things down, Rome’s verse delivers an interesting contrast with its sharp tone. On why he chose to collaborate with Tei Shi, Rome explains to The FADER, “I’ve been a fan of Tei Shi for a while now, so finally being able to work with her and have a product out is super exciting for me.”

Tei Shi returned the compliment:

“I’m a big fan of Rome and was excited to have him on the track, he’s dope,” she told us. “This is one of the most fun songs for me and having him on it was a cool extension of where my head was at when I made it.”
