Hip-hop veteran Q-Tip joined Pharrell on an episode of OTHERtone where he danced “The WOP” to the classic track “Eric B. is President.” In the interview, he declared that the summer of ‘86 changed everything for hip-hop when the single was released because it set the tone for artists like himself, Dr. Dre and others. Legendary producer Marley Marl was behind the track and undoubtedly influenced those who followed him. See the clip above and just try not to dance along.
