'Straight Outta Compton' Sees Unexpected Huge Success With Opening Weekend Sales

N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton hit theaters three days ago. Opening weekend ticket sales more than doubled the estimated projections of $25 million, bringing in $56.1 million and making it the biggest opening weekend for a music bio ever. Not only did viewers support the F. Gary Gray-directed film but critics did too. Rotten Tomatoes gave Straight Outta Compton a score of 88%.
