mita sneakers x New Balance MFL574 "History Gradation"
Tokyo-based mita is dropping an exclusive take on the Fresh Foam-cushioned 574.
Originally released back in 1988, New Balance’s fan-favorite 574 was updated earlier this year with a streamlined, seamless upper and the brand’s new honeycombed Fresh Foam cushioning. Now Tokyo’s mita sneakers has customized the MFL574, following last year’s “Battle of Surfaces” collab with its new “History Gradation” pack. Designed by mita’s Shigeyuki Kunii and modeled by the store’s own Kazushige Nakamura in a video by Keita Suzuki, the kicks are a nod to the New Balance colorways of old, coupling a combination of burgundy and navy with the contemporary tech and mita design cues like footbeds emblazoned with the Tokyo imprint’s signature chainlink fence.
Fans can find the “History Gradation” kicks in-store and online beginning this Saturday, August 22.
