Last month we reported on the exquisite ASICS GEL-Lyte IIIs which utilized a vegetable-tanned upper not dissimilar to the products put out by Hender Scheme. Now, we get a closer look at exactly how these sneakers are made. Made in Japan using skilled craftsmen and only the finest tools and materials, the process of hand-cutting the leather is displayed, along with the shaping, stitching and gluing of the entire shoe. Limited to 255, these have already started to release in Japan and Australia for approximately $600 USD, so keep an eye out on when some of the GEL-Lyte IIIs will release at your local shop.
