During an interview with The Sunday Times on July 5, Miguel shared the following after he was asked about Frank Ocean: “I wouldn’t say we were friends. To be completely honest — and no disrespect to anyone — I genuinely believe that I make better music, all the way around.” Afterwards, he took to Twitter to clarify his statements, letting followers know that although he is competitive, the ultimate purpose of his recently released album WILDHEART is to celebrate individuality.
